new and old. I keep hearing that Mexican made fenders are getting better or even match Japan. But I'm not sure of that is true for this specific signature model (Marcus Miller) I don't think they are making them anymore so how much better the Mexican workshop has become doesn't matter as much. As far as I knew they were only made in the States

But back to the point, the US Geddy (red or black) IMO is the finest Jazz bass Fender makes. The CIJ Geddy is nice too, but the neck is a little bit on the "too thin" side and the tone is a little thinner and slightly more trebly. blackandwhite, Matt O, cubanbass and 4 others like this.
