Prominent members have included Philip Bailey, Verdine White, Ralph Johnson, Larry Dunn, Al McKay, Roland Bautista, Robert Brookins, Sonny Emory, Fred Ravel, Ronnie Laws, Sheldon Reynolds, and Andrew Woolfolk.

Just like White, many Earth, Wind & Fire members dabbled in solo albums between 1983 and 1987. White released his solo album titled simply "Maurice White" (via the EWF website).
